Next week we will be giving out double the amount of bags since it is the week before Thanksgiving break and the kids won’t be in school for a whole week. We are in need of the following items if you have not had a chance to make a donation.
  • Cold Cereal – Individual pkgs. (5/8 oz. – 1 oz. bowl size)
  •  Tuna Meals w/Crackers (3.5 oz foil cup)
  •  Pop Tarts
  •  Mac & Cheese – microwave safe (2.05 oz.)
  • Pop Top Meals – microwave safe (2.05 oz.)

Donations may be dropped off at the administration building or any school office, or here at church Mon – Thurs. 8am – 12noon.

Applications for our Christmas Assistance program are coming in!  So be on the look out for the email to Adopt a Cougar for Christmas soon.

Join us in helping our First Graders at China Spring Elementary by purchasing and providing their school supplies for 2020-2021. We have FIVE (5) first graders. If you are only able to provide for one child, that’s great, we appreciate any contribution!

Deadline: Wednesday, July 22, 2020
Please turn into the church office open Mon-Thurs from 9 am-12 pm.

Holy Week and Easter Services

Holy Week and Easter Services

by csumcadmin1 | Apr 8, 2020 | 0 comments

It’s hard to believe but Holy Week is here. Hopefully, by now you know you can join us for worship at 11:00 am each week by going to our Facebook page which can be found here. You can also view the entirety of our recorded worship services at your convenience on our WATCH LIVE page.

It is on the first Sunday of the month that we generally celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion. On Palm Sunday we will not, but we will be doing so on Easter Sunday and information about that follows later in the Easter Sunday information. We will, however, receive our monthly Communion offering which (this month) goes to the Wesleyan Homes in Georgetown. Please know our gifts are crucial for Wesleyan Homes’ ministry with senior adults. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry of the United Methodist Church, every penny you give to their Benevolent Fund goes fully to financially assist at-risk senior adults. You can give online at our church website or mail your check into the church office.

On Holy Thursday (April 9th), we will not be broadcasting a live worship service, but Pastor Steve will be broadcasting a message beginning at 7:00 pm on Facebook Live. We will be broadcasting via Facebook Live a Good Friday (April 10th) Tenebrae Service beginning at 7:00 pm.

On Easter Sunday (April 12th), although we will still not be able to gather as a worshipping community, we hope and pray you and your family will join us for a special Easter service celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus from the tomb. As with our other services, it will be broadcast live on Facebook. Additionally, we are hoping to begin broadcasting our worship services live on one of our YouTube Channels by Easter Sunday. More information regarding this will be coming soon!
